Everlube® Products Qualifies Everlube 9002 to Pratt & Whitney PWA 36204

Atlanta, GA – October 20, 2011 – Everlube Products is pleased to announce the qualification of Everlube 9002 to       Pratt & Whitney specification PWA 36204.  PWA 36204 specifies a low VOC bonded solid film lubricant to reduce fretting and galling on titanium and other alloys.  PWA 36204 also requires the qualified products be free of lead, nickel, silver, or their compounds.

The initial intent of PWA 36204 is to provide a “green” alternative to PWA 474, which our Ecoalube 642 is qualified against.  As with PWA 474, PWA 36204 will be used on the root sections of fan and compressor blades, fasteners, and other mechanical components that operate at temperatures up to 650°F.
